This class 1043 electric motor of the Austrian Federal Railroad ÖBB was produced in Sweden at the ASEA factories. 10 locomotives have been delivered in the early 1970ies. They have been a small share of a production batch of Rc2 locos made for the Swedish SJ. The Austrian locos have some minor specific modifications.
This class 1043 model is nearly identical to our Swedish Rc2 models. The most significant differences are the electric roof equipment and the top flood light.
